A Trust is a collection of individual Holdings. Industryplayer offers groups of people (such as co-workers, friends, school classes, community clubs, etc.) the opportunity to join forces in a Trust (in many games called a ‘Clan’). Holdings in Trusts can sector specialise to reduce production costs, gain additional staff discounts through Trust synergies and obtain material supply discounts (up to 20%). Strategic planning between Trust member Holdings provides considerable advantages.

Joining a Trust

To join a Trust requires the Gold Version* and the Holding must be at Level 2 or higher.

• Joining a Trust costs 1 CP (Membership ends with finishing or re-setting the Level)
• Click on the Trust Options button (Handshake) on the lower part of your game console and see the list of the available Trusts
• Select one and click "Join Trust" to apply for a membership
• The Trust Administrator will respond advising acceptance or rejection of your application to join
• If a Holding’s application to join a Trust is rejected, the 1 CP joining fee is refunded

Founding a Trust

From level 5 upwards players have the option to create their own Trust. To create a Trust costs 15 CP’s, and a Trust is valid for 3 months. For a Trust to perpetuate after the first 3 months, it must be re-established every month thereafter, which costs 5 CP’s for each re-establishment.

To found a new Trust click on “Found Trust”. Enter a name for your Trust and a signature statement or motto for the Trust. You can also upload a picture/logo for your Trust (*.gif or *.jpg, 80x80 Pixel, max 25KB). Trust creators/administrators may accept or reject Holding applications for membership.

Advantages of Trust Membership

• Trust members have a "private chat" option, where the chat can be viewed by members of that Trust only
• The chat box will popup automatically, whenever a member enters a message
• A direct mail feature is available between fellow Trust members
• A "fast switch" allows Trust members to move quickly between Holdings and to open and close each in one click, without entering login details each time
• All Trust members' Holdings will, by default, give first priority to purchase available materials from fellow Trust members' stocks and receive a discount
• Trust member Holdings stocking raw or intermediate materials can adjust the discount granted to other members in the same trust between 0% and 20%
• Trust Members also receive discounted Insurance and Quality Costs (discount rises in 1% increments to a Maximum of 20%)
• Each Holding gains the benefit of Trust synergy savings when any other holding(s) in their Trust has Licences in the same sector. Collaborative Trust synergising of products can provide extra staff discounts of up to a maximum of 10%, in addition to any synergy savings a Holding has created for itself
